Description

The main challenge of this project is to create the conditions necessary to increase local production by 20 per cent through the coordination of both the primary sector and the local value chain in Goierri and Alto Urola. To this end, at the GOIZANE processing centre – which adds value to the fruit and vegetables grown by the farmers of UZTAOLA – the aim is to receive advice and technical and technological support for the development of new products. To achieve this, the Leartiker technology centre, amongst others, intends to draw on its expertise in new product development.

Comprehensive support will be provided for the processing of local food. This will include, amongst other things:

  • Product formulation and definition of the production process.
  • Monitoring of product production and the definition and validation of heat treatments.
  • Quality control of the products produced.
